Luke and Daniel are shifters who have a long-forged connection. In fact, they know that the woman who will be their true love will also be their mate, and will belong to the both of them. They have decided they need some time away after the recent fights and stress around their home of Paradise and decide to volunteer for guard duty during Yule time in Montana. They never expect to meet their mate, have her be guarding two small children, and have her want nothing to do with them, though the attraction is obvious.
Sabrina is running to save her life. She escaped after being captured by nefarious shifters intent on harming her and is doing what she knows best running. But, when she finds two small children she knows that her focus in life has changed. She will do whatever it takes to keep them safe. Can she extend that trust to the two men who find her in Montana? Even if they are the good guys can she trust the lives of her new children, and her heart to them, no matter the attraction?
Seduction in Paradise is the 8th book in the Paradise series and while it is written as a standalone story I am not sure that it should be read without reading some of the others in the series, mostly as it is not one of Ms. Xander's stronger books. I felt that Sabrina was a bit selfish and too much of a brat for me to truly like her as a character. In fact, I found that I felt sorry for Luke and Daniel in most cases. But that was me; there are still strong plot points that fit into the overall storyline of Paradise and some super hot sexual encounters. So overall, if you are a fan of the series by all means pick up Seduction in Paradise. If you are new to the series I suggest reading the earlier ones first to help you follow the overall plotline.
